Let's get to know each other
Hey, I’m Danielle —
Owner & Photographer at Three Moons Studio & Photo Co.
This rebrand came from the deepest part of me — inspired fully by my three beautiful daughters, my three moons.
They are the light, the chaos, and the driving force behind everything I do.
As a professional, published photographer based in Maine, I specialize in documentary-style photography of all kinds, elopements and weddings, birth stories, family portraits, and boudoir. But at the heart of it all, I’m a storyteller.
I’m drawn to the kind of work that’s real, emotional, intimate — where the light hits just right and the story unfolds naturally. Whether it’s a quiet elopement in the Maine woods or a bold, empowering boudoir session, I want to create images that feel like you. The kind of moments that linger. That matter. The ones you'll want to return to again and again.
More Than Just a Photographer
I grew up here in Maine and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. The rocky coasts, deep woods, and honest people here are a part of who I am. So is motherhood — beautiful, messy, humbling, and full of magic.
Being a single mom of three while running a business isn’t always smooth sailing, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. My girls keep me grounded, inspired, and (let’s be honest) on my toes. They’re the reason I chase this dream so fiercely — and sometimes the reason I need an extra-large coffee, OR 3.
Let’s Be Real
Here’s the thing — I’m not the photographer who just shows up and takes pictures. I want to know you. I want to vibe with you, laugh with you, see you. Because that’s how the good stuff happens.
A few things you should probably know:
-I believe in God.
-I’m a girl mom.
-I love heavy metal and all things spooky.
-Coffee is non-negotiable.
-True crime documentaries are my guilty pleasure.
-I’m funny-awkward, not run-away awkward. (Okay, I might just be that awkward, but you can bet I’ll be yelling after you that your dress is blowing perfectly in the wind AS you run away.)
-I believe women should hype each other up, not tear each other down. Always.
-Domestic abuse survivor.
Photography isn’t just my job — it’s my passion, my therapy, my way of connecting. I believe every woman deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and empowered — especially in motherhood. I believe love, in all its forms, is worth documenting. And I believe in telling stories that matter — the kind that make you feel something long after the moment has passed.
If you’re here, thank you. Seriously — you’ve already made my day.
If we work together, know I’m bringing the beautiful but edgy, the heart, and while I’m far from the cheerleader hype girl type, the passion will absolutely bleed through my work. You’ll see it in the edits and feel it in the memories. Let’s get you on the books!
